China's auto parts will focus on Europe and the United States in the future

Deloitte recently released a new research report highlighting the growing role of China's automotive exports. According to the findings, the share of sales generated through exports by Chinese auto companies is expected to rise significantly. Half of the companies surveyed anticipate that exports will account for between 25% and 50% of their total sales by 2010. The report also reveals that most of the auto parts manufacturers interviewed have identified North America and Europe as their top export destinations. Li Detai, head of Deloitte’s Automotive Industry Business Group, explained that the survey was conducted starting in January this year and the final report was completed in early April. Of the companies involved, 20% were complete vehicle manufacturers, while 80% were suppliers of automotive components. The study highlights several key challenges that Chinese automakers face when exporting their products, including meeting international quality standards, maintaining cost competitiveness, providing reliable after-sales service, building strong international relationships, and ensuring efficient transportation and delivery systems. These findings reflect the increasing global ambitions of China's automotive sector and the steps it must take to remain competitive on the world stage. As more companies look to expand their reach beyond domestic markets, addressing these challenges will be crucial for long-term success.
