In late April, the domestic urea ex-factory price rose rapidly due to the tight supply and demand and the sharp increase in the price of urea in the international market. At the end of April, it rose by 4% from the middle of April. In May, although the urea ex-factory prices continued to rise due to the demand in the peak season, the uptrend slowed down significantly. At the end of May, it was only 0.9% higher than at the beginning of May. Affected by the large amount of hikes in late April, the price of urea rose more than last month. The price of other varieties is basically stable. According to monitoring, the average ex-factory prices of urea, diammonium phosphate, and three-element compound fertilizer in May were 2,361 yuan, 3,327 yuan, and 2,801 yuan per ton respectively. Compared with the previous month, urea and three-element compound fertilizer rose by 4.1% and 0.5% respectively. , Diammonium phosphate decreased by 0.4%; compared with the same period of last year, urea, diammonium phosphate and three-element compound fertilizer rose by 16.7%, 1.2% and 7.1% respectively.
In May, due to factors such as increased demand for spring ploughing fertilizer during the peak season and the gradual increase of urea ex-factory prices to the terminal market, retail prices of urea rose slightly seasonally, and prices of other varieties rose steadily. According to monitoring, the average retail prices of urea, diammonium phosphate, three-element compound fertilizer, and imported potassium chloride in May were 2,520 yuan, 3,630 yuan, 3,267 yuan, and 3,710 yuan per ton, respectively, compared with the previous month, urea and diammonium phosphate. The three-element compound fertilizer increased by 3%, 0.8%, and 0.6%, respectively, while the imported potassium chloride decreased by 0.1%. Compared with the same period of last year, urea, diammonium phosphate, three-element compound fertilizer, and imported potassium chloride rose by 16.5% respectively. , 3.1%, 8.4%, 5.3%.
