The operation of the electrothermal incubator is very convenient, and its circuit design function is very simple, which also makes the electrothermal thermostat in use has a particularly serious problem. The problem is that the temperature control sensor contacts are directly connected in series. In the 220V AC voltage is directly applied between the two contacts. When the temperature control sensor is turned on or off, spark discharge occurs in the tiny air gap space between the contacts, causing ablation of the contacts, which makes the smooth and smooth surface of the contact silver layer become uneven, and the contact friction increases. The contact cannot be accurately separated, causing an increase in the deviation between the actual temperature and the set temperature.

Over time, the contact surface of the electrothermal constant temperature incubator is in poor contact, the contact heats up, the oxidation of the silver layer is aggravated, and the contacts are more uneven, resulting in greater sparks and a vicious cycle. In severe cases, the contacts are stuck and cannot be separated. The heating wire is energized for a long time and the temperature is out of control. Each time the maintenance will clean the contacts, reinstall the equipment to resume normal work, but after some time, the fault is as old.

In order to solve the problem of contact ignition, it is necessary to eliminate the possibility of ignition. The circuit of the electrothermal incubator was redesigned. This reminds us of a switching element - thyristor. Triacs can control extremely high output power with minimal signal power, without contact jumps and arc shutdown. In this way, in the case of a triggering triac, only a small trigger current is applied to the control electrode to make the triac conductive. When the potential difference between the two contacts is reduced to a certain extent, due to the small effect of the electric field force, the air molecules in the gaps of the contacts are not sufficiently ionized, so no charged particles exist in the air between the contacts. When it is turned on or off, since there is no flow of charged particles, no current can be formed in the air gap and sparks will not be generated.
