· Google supplier group to build an automatic car

In order to accelerate the promotion of its autonomous car project, Google is looking for partners from the automotive industry. Google not only announced a list of auto parts suppliers, but also contacted vehicle companies including GM, Volkswagen and Daimler.

Google's two autonomous vehicles are expected to be tested this year. According to Chris Urmso, vehicles can drive automatically without the need for steering wheels, brakes and accelerators, but according to California law, a driver will be added to the test.
Google had previously predicted that fully self-driving cars would go on sale in five years, but Tesla CEO Elon Musk said recently that the US federal government’s policy on autonomous vehicles is still unclear. Driving a car will not be available until 2022-2023.
