Since 2005, it has been an intensive development stage. At this stage, the total size of special-purpose automobile manufacturers in the city has rapidly expanded, with total assets exceeding RMB 6 billion, over 100 manufacturing companies, and more than 80 parts and components companies, special vehicles and parts and components. The industry broke through the 10 billion yuan mark and became the city's largest pillar industry. In December 2007, Suizhou City was awarded the honorary title of "China's Special-purpose Vehicle Capital" by China Machinery Industry Federation.

For many years, the Suizhou City Party Committee and the municipal government have been pursuing the development of special-purpose cars as the “key highlight”. According to statistics, as of 2010, the city’s auto industry has gathered 118 enterprises above designated size; among them, 26 have had production and sales of more than 100 million yuan, 6 have exceeded 500 million yuan, and 1 has exceeded 2 billion yuan. Compared with the end of the “10th Five-Year Plan” period and the “Eleventh Five-Year” period, the output of special vehicles in Suizhou City increased more than four times, achieving a total output increase of more than three times, accounting for nearly 30% of the city's total industrial output value; and nearly 7 times the increase in profits and taxes, products Exports reached 140 million U.S. dollars.

While expanding the scale of special vehicles, Suizhou promoted the interaction of “two wholes” (reorganization of the market, integration of resources), increased industrial concentration, and integrated more than 180 unqualified companies in the city through restructuring, controlling, and share participation. According to reports, at present, Suizhou Special Automobile Production Co., Ltd. has covered 12 series, 62 categories, and more than 300 varieties. Auto parts include more than 600 varieties of body assemblies, tires, lights, axles, gearboxes, transmission shafts, etc. With more than 1,000 specifications, the annual production capacity has reached 70,000 special vehicles, 30,000 car chassis, 50,000 car bodies, 5 million sets of wheels, and 800,000 tons of castings, forming the most complete variety and distinctive features of the domestic special-purpose vehicle market. The most enriched industrial resources development pattern.

The next step is to strive to reach the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”. The annual automobile output of the city will reach 210,000 vehicles, and the total output value of the automobile industry will exceed 50 billion yuan. Among them, the output value of special vehicles will achieve 26 billion yuan, and the chassis output value will be 5 billion yuan. The output value of spare parts is 200 billion yuan.
