Storms keep area fire departments busy

This is coming live from Dylan Konchan on the scene. The MABAS 24 Task Force headed out to Morris earlier today to assist with the flooding situation. A number of neighboring departments were involved, including Tinley Park, South Holland, East Hazel Crest, and Calumet City. They all coordinated their efforts at the Tinley Park Convention Center before heading out. I managed to snap some quick photos while they were preparing to head out. Here’s a look at the Tinley Park Fire Department gear being readied for deployment. You can see the attention to detail in how everything is organized—clearly these guys mean business when it comes to handling emergencies like this. Next up, here’s the Calumet City Fire Department team getting ready. They’ve got their trucks fully stocked and checked, ensuring that every piece of equipment is in top condition. It’s impressive to see how well-prepared everyone is, even under pressure. Over here with the East Hazel Crest Fire Department, you can really feel the energy as they prepare for action. Each member seems focused and determined, knowing the importance of their role in this operation. Their teamwork is evident in how smoothly everything is coming together. Finally, let’s take a moment to appreciate the Tinley Park Fire Department again. These images capture the dedication and professionalism of our local first responders. It’s moments like these that remind us why we’re so grateful for their service and sacrifice. I’ll keep you updated as things progress. Stay safe out there, everyone!
