Regarding the fourth factory of Chengdu Shenlong, Mr. Bi Gaocheng stated that he will attend the foundation laying ceremony. And he shared an interesting little thing with us. He agreed to participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony. The condition is that the first car produced by this factory is Peugeot. Now it seems that Shenlong Company has met his wish. At present, the factory has not yet laid the foundation, so Mr. Bi Gaocheng can not tell you what the specific model of the first production.

Previously, Shenlong announced its strategic plan for sales. In 2020, Shenlong sold 1.5 million units. Mr. Bi Gaocheng hopes that Peugeot will occupy a higher proportion. From the current situation, it can reach 2/3, that is, 1 million units.

On the news of Dongfeng Peugeot's expansion of the Southeast Asian market, Mr. Bi Gaocheng also made in-depth expositions. He said that PSA decided that Shenlong would lead Peugeot’s sales efforts in Southeast Asia, because it would be even more troublesome to radiate Southeast Asia from its Paris headquarters and French factories, so it would set up an export company to operate Southeast Asia alone. As for the specific position of the export company, PSA is still negotiating with Dongfeng Motor and it has not yet reached a conclusion.

In order to show a good interaction relationship with Dongfeng, Mr. Bi Gaocheng also said that last week he discussed with Liu Weidong (member of the Standing Committee of the Dongfeng Motor Corporation Party Committee and deputy general manager) where the next factory was built, whether it is Wuhan or Chengdu or other places. The idea of ​​Liu Weidong is that the next factory will be built in Southeast Asia. Therefore, in this regard, Dongfeng and PSA have the same view. Dongfeng Peugeot should consolidate the existing strong position and make a bigger layout in the future. Therefore, the primary goal is still to be raised before, reaching 1.5 million sales by 2020. The Southeast Asian market is a major focus of PSA's next step. The Southeast Asian market and the Chinese market are quite similar and similar in many aspects. We have decided with Dongfeng Motor to set up a R&D center shared by Dongfeng and PSA in China. In other words, Shenlong and PSA each have a research and development center. In the future, a joint research and development center will be established between Dongfeng and PSA.
