Cummins has reached an agreement with Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP) to sell its lightweight filter business .
The Cummins Filtration business primarily produces a range of filters for diesel engines. The lightweight filters are part of the Cummins Filtration business.
Joseph Saoud, president of Cummins Filtration Systems, stated: "The IOP company is very strong. After this part of the business is sold, it will be beneficial to the development of the company's entire filter system business. We will focus on the core markets that can achieve the company's sales growth. ."
Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP), headquartered in Evanston, Ill., is a private investment company and IOP invested a total of $185 million to acquire and manage value-added services.
