College Transportation Professional Instruction Committee

On July 22, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Transportation Professionals in Colleges and Universities in 2013-2017 was held in Beijing.

The Teaching Steering Committee is an expert organization appointed by the Ministry of Education to carry out research, consultation, guidance, evaluation, and service for higher education teaching in transportation. Zhou Haitao, chief engineer of the Ministry of Transport, is the chairman of the committee. The committee currently has six teaching guidance sub-committees on transportation engineering, navigation technology, road transportation and engineering, waterway transportation and engineering, railway transportation and engineering, and air transportation and engineering. The establishment of this committee is of great significance to strengthening industry guidance, advancing the education and teaching reform of higher education institutions, and accelerating the training of modern transportation talents.
