Hey everyone,
This is Dennis McGuire, Jr., and I wanted to share some additional photos from the incident involving the 2-11. These images should complement the earlier posts you've seen. If you want to check out more of my work, head over to [312firephotos.smugmug.com](http://312firephotos.smugmug.com).
Attached here are a few shots that really capture the intensity of the situation. The first one shows a fire scene at night—there’s something about how the flames leap against the darkness that just hits differently. It’s chaotic but oddly mesmerizing. My second image highlights a fire engine hooked up to a hydrant under the cover of night. You can see the dedication and effort it takes for firefighters to get the job done, even in less-than-ideal conditions. Finally, there’s a close-up of Chicago FD Engine 54, which really showcases the pride and professionalism of our local firefighting teams.
These photos were taken moments after the initial call came in, so they give a pretty accurate depiction of what it was like on the ground. If you’re interested in seeing more, feel free to visit my gallery. Let me know what you think—I always appreciate feedback!
Best,
Dennis McGuire, Jr.
