Here's a message from Eric Haak:
The Chicago Fire Department responded to a 2-11 alarm on March 30th. High winds returning that day quickly turned a small grass fire into a massive inferno, as embers ignited large piles of paper waiting to be recycled at a facility located at 48th and Christiana.

It was a dramatic scene, with flames shooting high into the sky and smoke visible for miles. Firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the blaze, which had spread rapidly due to the strong winds. The recycling center was forced to shut down temporarily, and local residents were advised to stay indoors due to the heavy smoke. Eric Haak captured some incredible shots of the fire, showing the intensity and scale of the situation.
