Here's a message from Eric Haak:
A 2-11 alarm was issued by the Chicago Fire Department on March 30th. High winds that returned on the same day quickly turned a small grass fire into a massive inferno, as embers sparked a large pile of paper waiting to be recycled at a facility located at 48th and Christiana.

The fire spread rapidly due to the strong gusts, creating a dangerous situation for firefighters and nearby residents. The facility, which is dedicated to recycling, had large stacks of paper that were not yet processed—these became fuel for the flames. Emergency crews worked tirelessly to contain the blaze, and the incident serves as a reminder of how quickly small fires can escalate under adverse weather conditions.
