High-voltage frequency conversion technology is mainly used in pumping stations, fans and other equipment of high-energy-consuming enterprises such as chemical, cement, steel, tap water, and thermoelectricity. Because in the engineering design, pump stations, fans and other equipment generally leave 30% of surplus power, there is a "big horse-drawn car" phenomenon in operation. Juhua Group currently has more than 200 high-voltage motors. The average load of these motors is 400 kilowatts (400 kilowatt hours per hour). According to calculations by the provincial power department, Zhenhai Refinery, Jiangshan Chemical, Xin'anjiang Chemical and Jiaxing Chemical have an average of more than 50 high-voltage motors, and only high-voltage motors in the chemical industry exceed 2,500, with an average annual power consumption of 7.6 billion kWh, and a power saving potential of approximately 23%.
