"Electronic ID card" appeared in the huge auto parts market
According to statistics from the Hangzhou Communications Department, by the end of the first half of 2008, there were nearly 5,800 motor vehicle maintenance companies in Hangzhou and more than 30,000 employees. In the first half of the year, more than 2.4 million vehicles were repaired and the output value was about 1 billion yuan. According to project director Huang Yuejin, the source information and location of each product are recorded in the database in detail and they can be queried at any time so as to achieve product quality traceability. When the owner logs on to the website and enters the bar code or license plate number, he can query the maintenance records of the vehicle and the information of each service replacement part.

"This system is similar to 'Electronic Fake', and its bar code is different from the bar code of supermarket products in the past. Each product has its own identity, and the market product bar code is a batch of stickers. At present, a total of 112 accessory dealers have ceased operations because of irregular operations. Traceability system has not been fully utilized
Hangzhou is embarking on the expansion of this system to its municipality and county, and will strive to achieve full coverage next year.
