Brazil launches anti-dumping against multinational nylon lines
The Ministry of Commerce issued an early warning on the 11th, and the Foreign Trade Secretariat of Brazil's Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade issued an announcement on July 9th, deciding to launch anti-dumping investigations on nylon yarn imported from China, South Korea, Thailand, and Chinese Taipei.
Given that China is not considered as a market economy country during the anti-dumping procedure, the Pakistani side plans to select Korea as the surrogate country to calculate the normal value of the export products involved in the case. Related companies involved shall complete the questionnaire and submit a reply within 40 days from the date of sending the questionnaire. Other stakeholders may apply to the Pakistani side to participate in the survey and specify their legal representatives within 20 days from the date of announcement.
