Arkema plans to increase PVDF capacity to meet customer demand in high-growth applications

Arkema recently announced that it has invested more than 70 million euros to increase its PVDF production capacity at its Pierre-Benite plant in France by 50% to meet the needs of customers in high-growth applications. The new project will adopt a series of advanced technologies including innovative high-purity processes and new sewage treatment processes. The plan is expected to be completed in 2014. As a leader in the global PVDF market, Arkema is the only manufacturer with a PVDF industrial base in the three major regions of the world. Since 2006, Arkema has been investing heavily in PVDF expansion and R&D.
