Another fire department has been added to the site from MABAS Division 19 — the Palos Fire Protection District. Based in Palos Park, this department operates out of two stations and has a total of 41 personnel on its roster, including 12 part-time members. They serve a district that spans 15 square miles, covering parts of Palos Park, Palos Heights, Orland Park, and unincorporated areas of Palos Township.

Their fire suppression fleet includes three E-ONE engines and an 110-foot E-ONE quint. In addition, they operate Road Rescue ambulances, a brush unit, and an elliptical tanker provided by 4-Guys. These resources help them respond to a wide range of emergencies across their service area.

Station 2 is also home to the newly established HazMat unit shared between MABAS Divisions 19 and 22. This unit was recently highlighted in articles found here and here.
