According to the Machina Research advisory report, a large number of objects and devices are now connected via short-range communication technologies such as Bluetooth and wifi, and the content that is actually carried on the mobile network only accounts for 6% of the total number of connections. This means that, NB-IOT into commercial operation, a breakthrough bottleneck may lead to rapid growth of related industries.
As an emerging application of the communications industry, the Internet of Things will further expand its market size under the trend of interconnected things.
