The Jiangsu Provincial Petrochemical Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center recently settled in Zhangjiagang. The Zhangjiagang Quality Supervision Bureau and Jiangsu Special Inspection Institute are jointly responsible for the preparation of the project. At this point, the number of provincial-level centers that have been built and under construction in Suzhou has reached 11, ranking first in the province.
In recent years, the petrochemical equipment manufacturing industry in Zhangjiagang City has developed rapidly. At present, there are more than 100 enterprises involved in the manufacture of petrochemical equipment in the city, and the output value of petrochemical equipment and related industries amounts to 30 billion, which has great influence in China. The establishment of the National Petrochemical Equipment Testing and Research Center will further agglomerate and effectively use science and technology, human resources, and equipment to form a larger-scale industry cluster, which will be of great significance in promoting the development of the industry.
