According to Zhao Xiyi, chief engineer of Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd., the TD440 is a high-end axle matching the Dongfeng Tianlong and Dongfeng Tianlong flagship models of the mainstream models of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. Recently, the test vehicle has been put into the market for verification and has received better user feedback.
In order to ensure stable supply after mass production, Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd. has conducted 7 months of off-line test equipment and 1 month of online zip training for the TD440. In November, 800 new products can be produced.
Dongfeng Dana Axle Company Shiyan Factory Production Site
In the first half of this year, the Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd. Shiyan plant has been in high production. In order to avoid the problem of high-yield and new-product zippers, the factory set up a TD440 project team in February of this year, and built a high-grade 485 reduction line. Automated, highly flexible and highly reliable reducer assembly line. In October and November two months, the factory reducer workshop employees also performed the zipper assembly and production of the TD440 reducer assembly while fulfilling the established production tasks. They gave up the two-day holiday, and the new production was made as soon as possible.
Zhang Wenyu, decelerator workshop manager of the Dongfeng Dana Axle Company's Shiyan Plant, introduced that through the production zippering, the problem was constantly rectified. With the elimination of problem points and the improvement of staff assembly skills, the production capacity of the TD440 series reducer assembly is steadily increasing. With the production bottleneck open, the production capacity of the TD440 rear axle and Zhongqiao has approached 60% of the process design capacity.
