The monitoring of the agricultural environment has not yet been included in the national construction plan, and the equipment conditions for agricultural environmental monitoring stations are very irregular, and the actual monitoring capabilities vary greatly. Only about one third of the provincial stations have relatively complete pollution monitoring conditions. Some monitoring stations only rely on the general knowledge they have learned to conduct empirical environmental surveys, observation reports, and management; in general, only 3 to 5 people are monitoring stations at the county level. Without laboratories, the work is restricted. Over the past decade or so, due to the lack of necessary monitoring equipment, methods, standards, and manpower, the monitoring of ecological indicators in rural areas has not been conducted. The agricultural environmental monitoring station has been gradually applied in recent years and is a milestone in the development of modern agriculture.
The daily work of agricultural environmental monitoring departments at all levels is mostly limited to environmental investigations, report preparation, and propaganda and training. In addition to the Hubei, Chongqing stations combined with the Three Gorges monitoring mission to carry out monitoring of soil erosion, crop pests and other ecological indicators, all other agricultural environmental monitoring No ecological indicators were monitored at the station. The agricultural environmental monitoring departments at all levels are insufficient in their ability to participate in the arbitration of major agricultural environmental pollution accidents, the impact evaluation of major construction projects on the agricultural environment, the research on new agricultural cleaner production technologies, and the development of bases. The scope of application of agricultural environmental monitoring stations is still relatively limited.
Governments at all levels should further increase their input, strengthen the capacity building of agricultural environmental monitoring systems, and gradually promote the application of agricultural environmental monitoring stations. Improve the office and monitoring environment, and acquire advanced equipment and equipment. First, ensure that all provincial stations have relatively complete conventional monitoring conditions. Due to the development of eco-agricultural counties, basic farmland protection areas have been gradually demarcated, and biodiversity work has been gradually carried out, placing urgent demands on ecological monitoring. The current agricultural environmental monitoring system lacks ecological monitoring methods and must supplement ecological monitoring equipment and capabilities in order to undertake ecological monitoring tasks in agricultural and pastoral areas. We will strive to establish a nationwide agricultural environmental information network with the Ministry of Agriculture's Environmental Monitoring Station as a workstation to realize the data network transmission of computer data and provide timely and accurate services for management, scientific research and production.
