Although China has already issued the first mandatory national standard for the safety of pupils' school buses, the Technical Conditions for the Safety of School Buses for Special School Pupils, it is still not enough to cultivate a mature school bus culture in China.
In contrast, the mature school bus culture in the United States is worth learning from. In the American film and television drama, we can often see that most children go to school by school bus. In the 1994 movie, "Forrest Gump", and A-Gump is also taking a school bus to school. The widespread use of school buses not only solves children’s problems of going to school, but also cultivates their independence and social skills.
However, this perfect school bus culture is not only determined by the market. The National Traffic and Mobile Security Law, the School Bus Safety Amendment and many other laws lay a solid institutional foundation for the school bus culture. In the United States, school buses have a lot of "privilege."
