In 2020, Delfast introduced three major upgrades to its popular e-bike models: the Prime 2.0, Top 3.0, and Partner 2.0. These new versions were designed based on customer feedback, bringing a range of improvements that make them more efficient, durable, and user-friendly.

Carbon Belt Drive

One of the most significant upgrades across all three models is the carbon belt drive. According to Delfast’s Chief Engineer, Serhii Goncharov, traditional chains are one of the weakest parts of an e-bike. They typically last only a few thousand kilometers and require frequent maintenance. The carbon belt drive, on the other hand, offers a longer lifespan—up to 20,000 km—and requires no lubrication. It’s also lighter, quieter, and more modern in design. Plus, the rear pendulum has been redesigned for easier tension adjustment.

Top 3.0

The Top 3.0 model features a single-speed belt drive system, eliminating the need for complex gear shifts. This makes riding smoother and more reliable. Additionally, the battery capacity has been increased by 6%, allowing the bike to travel up to 370 km on a single charge. The new battery uses a 48V 70Ah Samsung 3500 mAh cell with Bluetooth-enabled smart BMS for better performance and safety.

Prime 2.0

The Prime 2.0 also includes a high-performance headlight with both low and high beam modes, making night rides safer and more visible. This feature was added to ensure the bike performs well in all weather conditions, including rain and cloudy days. The upgraded motor delivers 1500W of power with 135 N.m of torque, offering double the efficiency of previous models.

Partner 2.0

The Partner 2.0 model comes with a dual-disc front brake system, replacing the older single-disc design for improved stopping power. This makes it ideal for city commuting and long-distance travel alike. All models also offer enhanced durability and comfort, ensuring a smooth ride for daily use.
