U.S. imposes a final compensatory tariff of up to 437% on imported steel wire products
The U.S. Department of Commerce says it will impose a final compensatory tariff of up to 437 percent on imports of steel wire products that are mainly used in storage rack systems. This will affect hundreds of millions of dollars worth of wire mesh trays imported from China. In recent years, U.S. companies have repeatedly complained about unfair pricing and subsidies for Chinese products. This is just one example.
