MVA with a motorcycle in Wheeling, 5-30-17

On Tuesday evening, May 30, 2017, Wheeling police and firefighters responded to a serious collision at the intersection of Dundee and Schoenbeck Roads. The crash involved a car and a motorcycle, with two individuals on the motorcycle found lying in the street when emergency crews arrived. All three occupants—both motorcyclists and the car driver—were taken to the hospital for treatment. The scene saw a significant emergency response, with all three Wheeling ambulances, both fire engines, Battalion 24, and Chief 2400 dispatched to the location. First responders worked quickly to stabilize and transport the injured, using Stryker cots and providing immediate medical care on-site. Several photos captured the aftermath of the crash, showing fire trucks, paramedics, and the damaged vehicles. One image highlights Engine 42 from the Wheeling Fire Department, a Rosenbauer Commander, while others depict paramedics assisting victims in the street and the wreckage left behind.
