According to the engineering plastics plant of Yihua Group, the company plans to construct a new 60,000 t/a PBT resin installation on the basis of the original 20,000 tons of production capacity. The project has already been approved by Sinopec.
The new device is still using Zimmer's equipment and technology and is expected to start production in 2007. After the device is put into operation, most of its PBT resin products will be sold to the international market except for most domestic sales, mainly in Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia. In addition, the Yihua Group Plastics Factory will also produce a portion of differentiated PBT products.
