Vietnam builds large-scale ethanol project

On the same day, the government of Phu Tho province of Vietnam issued a large-scale ethanol project investment license to the oil and oil and gas biofuels joint stock company of PV Oil.
The project is located in Tam Nong County, Fuk Shou Province. It covers an area of ​​50 hectares, a total investment of 80 million US dollars, and an annual output of 100,000 tons of ethanol. It will be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2009.
Reported that in order to ensure the supply of raw materials, Fushou Province has planned to plant 35,000 hectares of cassava and sugar cane. The project can resolve the employment of 23,000 local laborers and will play a positive role in increasing farmers’ income and promoting local economic development.
