**Structure Features:**
1. The LDTN and LDTNA heat-engine plant pumps are vertical multi-stage columnar pumps. The suction and discharge nozzles are located on the barrel and discharge seat, respectively, and can be adjusted to 180°, 90°, or other angles. The impeller is closed, and the first impeller has two types of construction—single or double suction.
2. Several positions of the pump are fitted with water-lubricated bearings to support the radial thrust of the rotor. Axial thrust is balanced by a thrust bearing on the motor.
3. The pump rotor and line shaft are connected using a cutting columnar coupling, while smaller pumps use a tread columnar coupling. The pump rotor and motor shaft are connected via a flanged solid coupling. Shaft seal options include soft packing or mechanical seals, which can be customized based on specific requirements.

**Bearing:**
The pump is equipped with multiple water-lubricated bearings to manage the radial thrust of the rotor. On the LDTN(A.B)--P model, a balancing drum and a pair of thrust ball bearings are installed to balance axial thrust. Other models rely on the motor's thrust bearing to manage axial forces.
**Coupling:**
The pump rotor and line shaft are connected using a cutting columnar coupling. The connection between the pump rotor and motor shaft can be done via flexible coupling, allowing the pump itself to balance axial thrust.
**Shaft Seal:**
The shaft seal is typically soft packing, but a mechanical seal can be added upon special request.
**Rotation Direction:**
The pump’s rotating direction is counter-clockwise when viewed from the front.
**System Requirements:**
- **Sealing Water:** The shaft seal requires external sealing water, typically condensate water. The flow rate should be 0.3–0.5 m³/h, with a pressure of 0.2–0.4 MPa and a temperature not exceeding 38°C.
- **Cooling Water:** Industrial water after softening is used for cooling. The temperature must not exceed 38°C, with a pressure of 0.3 MPa. Motors over 560 kW are equipped with bearing coolers, which require external cooling water at a flow rate of 8–12 m³/h and a pressure of 0.1–0.2 MPa.
