The Surge of Export of Auto Parts in Zhejiang Still Exists "Three Major Soft Rises"


According to statistics from Hangzhou Customs, the export of auto parts in Zhejiang in the first quarter of this year amounted to US$129 million, an increase of nearly 90% year-on-year, accounting for 16.3% of China’s total auto parts exports. Zhejiang has become one of the major bases for domestic auto parts exports.

At present, there are three major weaknesses in the export of auto parts in Zhejiang: market concentration, auto parts exported to the United States market accounted for 50% of the total value, while the EU and Japan’s two major markets accounted for 13.2% and 5.3%, respectively; low technology content, automotive zero More than one-third of the exports of components are common parts for automobiles; foreign investment is low; in the first quarter, auto parts exported by processing trade methods accounted for 9.27 million US dollars, accounting for only 7.2% of the total value of exports, and foreign-invested enterprises only accounted for 19% of exports.
