The main problem of the domestically used seismographs, which were commonly used before, is that the disassembly and assembly speed is slow and the operation is inconvenient. It has to go through the three steps of matching, inserting and tightening. In general, it takes 9 seconds to connect or remove a channel. Taking 1000 lanes as an example, it takes 5 hours to complete the whole inspection, and often the virtual connection is not in place, and it is necessary to repeatedly dock and delay the test time.
Can you turn the three-step operation into one step? Li Zongpu, an engineer at the Oriental Geophysical Equipment Center, aimed at this problem. He and his colleagues spent more than a year, using electronic circuit principles, and finally succeeded in developing a new type of seismograph. It was put into trial in early October last year. With this new type of tester, it can be placed in one step with a single plug, and no virtual connection will occur. It takes only one second to remove one of the tracks, and it takes only 50 minutes to complete 1000 alignment tests, which improves the work efficiency by more than 5 times.
In addition, the new seismographs are small in size, light in weight and low in cost. The price of a tester is only one-tenth of the original tester, one-twentieth of the price of the imported tester, which is good, fast, and economical.
