NEU Launches TPU-free Thermoplastic Polyurethanes

NORTH HAVEN, CONNECTION, UNITED STATES, NEU Corp. (New England Carbamate Corporation) has developed a new easily stretchable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) that contains no phthalate or ester (plasticizer). Provides superior product design and application parameters that can be applied to medical products and other designers and manufacturers.
NEU has developed a new type of easily stretchable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) without soft phthalates or plasticizers. Its vertical tensile strength of 800% or more, Shore A hardness of 65 or 75, and high tensile strength make it suitable for thin-walled tubular materials that can be manipulated during surgical resections such as knee surgery.
Due to its vertical tensile strength of 800% or more and excellent tensile strength, the new Neuthane® Soft Touch N8511 H system TPU alloy is suitable for disposable thin-walled tubular materials for surgical resection. The easy stretchability of the material facilitates the insertion of different sized equipment into the molded product. Due to the difference in material formulation, Shore A hardness is between 65 and 75 and gives the product an added benefit - soft touch.
NEU indicated that they also receive small orders, which makes NEU companies fundamentally different from some industry competitors that only consider large orders. The behavior of competing companies will create difficulties for designers or small manufacturers of product development.
