Yesterday morning, the Daya Bay Petrochemical District of Huizhou added another life force - Huayu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. started an annual production of 10 million tons of fuel oil blending distribution center project.
According to the plan, Huasheng Company will build 23 storage tanks on Mangdao Island in Daya Bay, with a total capacity of 1.30 million cubic meters of fuel oil blending and distribution centers and supporting facilities with a throughput capacity of 24.05 million tons/year. The total investment of the project is 5.39 billion yuan, and it is estimated that the annual operating income after commissioning will be about 28.8 billion yuan, and the annual tax paid will be 580 million yuan. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2013.
Shu Changxiong, chairman of Huasheng, introduced that after the completion of the project, it will be China's largest fuel oil blending and distribution center. It can be used as a supplement to the national strategic oil reserve in terms of energy strategy, and it will contribute to the formation of a pricing mechanism for the fuel oil market in South China. Effectively reduce the logistics costs of fuel oil and increase the competitiveness of related industries.
Relevant person in charge said: "Before the project commences, the company has invested heavily in the protective relocation of man-made reef corals that may be affected by the waters around the island of Manzhou."
According to reports, the project will adopt environmentally friendly operation methods during the construction process. At the same time, it signed a related agreement with the Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, investing 13 million yuan for artificial breeding and releasing, constructing an ecological shoreline, and setting up artificial reefs for conservation and accelerated restoration of marine living resources. The project designed to protect the ecological environment will cost about 150 million yuan.
